Standardized Fastening of Formwork Boards with PREBENA Staples.
Instead of using nails, the formwork can also be fastened with staples. Corresponding edge distances according to Eurocode 5 must be observed. The staples must be inserted at an angle of 45°. No splitting of the wooden formwork when using staples. Ideally suited, for example, for exposed formwork.
To be used with formwork boards of grading class S10 (according to DIN 4074-1) with a maximum width of 0.16 m and nominal thicknesses of:
≥ 24 mm (Center distance up to 0,8 m)
≥ 28 mm (Center distance up to 0,9 m)
≥ 30 mm (Center distance up to 1,0 m)
When using wood-based formwork, the following nominal thicknesses apply (also for a maximum width of 0.16 m):
≥22 mm (Achsabstand bis 0,8 m)
≥25 mm (Achsabstand bis 1,0 m)
PREBENA Staples Type Q63CSVHA-ETA can be used with Pneumatic Stapler 5C-Q75 and SLIDER 5C-Q75.

Fastening Wooden Facades with PREBENA staples as a certified building product – ETA
Stapling or nailing? The advantages of fixing the wooden facade with staples are the small diameter of the staples compared to nails. This reduces the risk of splitting the board during fastening to a minimum. If the staples are also resin-coated, this secures them from being pulled out.
Stapling is the fastest method of fastening a wooden facade and is ideal for invisible facade fastening.
The PREBENA staples Type Q und Z with ETA certification in the versions galvanized, resinated (CSVHA-ETA) and rust and acid resistant (CRFHA-ETA) are the ideal optimal fasteners for wooden facades.
