VIGON 240 compressor

The PREBENA VIGON 240 compressor is traditionally one of the most popular compressors in the PREBENA range. Thanks to its excellent price-performance ratio and ease of use, it is used in many areas. Whether for inflating tyres or supplying a PREBENA nailer with compressed air, the powerful unit with an intake capacity of 240 l/min usually provides enough compressed air to cover a wide range of tasks. As with the entire VIGON series, the VIGON 240 is also very durable and low-maintenance thanks to its low oil consumption and large suction filter.

The VIGON 240 provides a good basic supply for most applications in the field of compressed air supply. In terms of equipment, the VIGON 240 offers more power, more boiler volume and additional wheels for mobile use. This is in contrast to the smaller model, the VIGON 120.

Our VIGON 240 piston compressor is particularly suitable for private DIY projects. However, more professional work, such as upholstery or small painting jobs, is also possible with this device. With a maximum pressure of 8 bar, a filling capacity of 160 litres per minute and an intake capacity of 240 litres per minute, you will always have sufficient compressed air available for your workshop. Thanks to its robust castors, the compressor can also be easily transported over rough terrain, making it mobile. In addition to its stable wheels, the unit is also very easy to maintain and has a duty cycle of up to 70%. Low oil consumption and a large intake filter ensure low maintenance requirements. Furthermore, the compressor is TÜV-approved, so there are no additional costs for you.

Large tank volume: The compressor is equipped with a 24-litre tank to provide the necessary compressed air supply. When the tank is filled to 8 bar pressure, the user has a total of 192 litres of air at their disposal. TIP: Make sure to regularly empty the tank condensate. This is produced when air is compressed and collects in the lower part of the tank due to gravity. There is a condensate drain valve at the bottom of the tank for emptying. Optimal compressed air control: The compressor's robust pressure gauges reliably display the tank pressure and outlet pressure. The larger pressure gauge (left in the picture) displays the boiler pressure. This is a maximum of 8 bar for the VIGON 240. The smaller pressure gauge (right in the picture) shows the pressure in bar for the outgoing air. The value can be adjusted using the red control. ATTENTION: Always release the lock first by pulling the control. The VIGON 240 compressor has an oil sight glass for reading the current oil level. This allows the user to check the oil level in the compressor unit at any time. The oil level should be in the area of the red dot. If the level is below the red dot, compressor oil must be added via the oil filler plug. TIP: Please use only original PREBENA oil.

The compressor's robust solid rubber wheels mean there is no risk of flat tyres. They can be pulled effortlessly over rough terrain, ensuring mobile use. Suction cups on the front legs of the compressor prevent it from tipping over and ensure a firm footing even during operation. Optimum cooling: The compressor is optimally cooled by the effectively guided cooling air flow at the compressor unit. The intake filter with metal housing is easily accessible on the cylinder head and can be removed without tools for replacement or cleaning. Its large design ensures low maintenance intervals.

Robust rubber handles: The rubberised handle of the compressor makes transport comfortable and safe. Particular attention was paid to high quality and skin compatibility when selecting the material.

High safety standard: The TÜV-tested safety valve directly below the pressure switch ensures a high level of safety.
